Leah Clough is currently based in Hong Kong. Her artwork can be seen at Art Projects Gallery in Wong Chuk Hang.
Leah’s drawings are influenced by etchings, plant illustrations, and the mysterious beauty of nature. Her work is an intense labour of intricate lines and detail that grow on paper into a landscape of botanical bio-fiction. Through hand drawn worlds Leah's most recent artwork plays with her own memories of childhood story books and exotic science fiction lands. She encourages the viewer to bring their own narration, their own make believe world into her work to enjoy moments of escapism in art.
Imagination Land 2014-2020
From 2014 to 2020 Leah and her brother John opened up and co-ran a creative activity centre for kids. They focused on encouraging the imagination while exploring art and science together with games and stories.
